Trying to turn off my brain by writing it down

Happy Wired Wednesday,

3D Printing#makerspaces #makeymakey Have you heard about these things? What are they?
Right now, in many schools 3D printing is as simple as printing fun plastic key chains. MaKeyMaKey is an invention kit that turns everyday objects into touchpads and combines them with the internet.
3D printing has inspired a focus in education to return to hands on creative learning/thinking/problem solving through coding, crafting and building things (even in duct tape) — #makerspaces   I really enjoy seeing the connection between technology, creative troubleshooting and working with your hands.
For more information, see a #makerspace at Milford High School in New Jersey in action.
*Just to make you think, last spring Nancy and I heard about a 3D printer that can print its own ink cartridges… 🙂
